Non-Discrimination Statement

Bath Housing Authority (BHA) does not discriminate in the administration or operation of its housing programs or activities on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression), national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, familial status, receipt of public assistance, including source of income, and individuals who have obtained a final protection order, as protected under applicable federal and Maine law.

BHA complies with all applicable federal fair housing and civil rights requirements, including, but not limited to: Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Fair Housing Act); Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), as amended; Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; HUD Equal Access regulations (24 CFR 5.105(a)(2)); and relevant Executive Orders, including Executive Orders 11063, 12892, 13166, 13217, and 13988.

Individuals interested in applying to BHA programs, including the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program and BHA-owned or managed housing, may obtain applications online, by phone, by mail, or in person at bathhousing.org, (207) 443-3116, or 520 Centre Street, Bath, Maine 04530. Free internet access is typically available at public libraries for individuals without personal internet access. Reasonable accommodations and language assistance are available upon request for individuals with disabilities or limited English proficiency.
