Bath Housing has received a generous grant of $2,000 from the Bessie D. Brooks Trust for its Air Conditioner Loan Program. This support allows Bath Housing to provide ten additional residents with much needed heat relief this summer as well as into the future.
In addition to potential medical dangers, high heat and humidity can seriously compromise comfort, engagement and connection for people. Bath Housing is pleased that its program can now offer loaned air conditioning units to over twenty residents who would not otherwise have access to them for their safety and comfort.
